I Saw Chris Crocker's Porn

If you have been following any of the major happenings in the adult entertainment industry, then you will most likely know the latest piece of gossip in gay porn:

It's been a long time coming (cumming?) Last year it was announced that Crocker would be making his debut under the direction of Chi Chi LaRue, one of my favorite pornographers. I deny nothing... I was pretty damn excited. Despite his eccentric reputation, I actually find the current Crocker quite sexy. He's got a great body and I find his self-confidence quite appealing overall. I thought the two would mesh together beautifully. Unfortunately, this gig was called off. I'm not sure if the reason was officially announced at any point, but I know that his documentary "Me at the Zoo" was released around the same time, so that may have distracted from the dirty deeds at hand.

Chris's Twitter and Tumblr followers, however, have not missed out on much though, as they are certainly no strangers to his naughty bits (which are, indeed, quite worth showing off). But I think the lack of the previously promised feature-length flick has left a small empty spot in the hearts of his fans.

Last week, this gaping void was finally filled with the release (hehe) of his video on MaverickMen.com with his (recently ex-)boyfriend Justin Goble.

Whether you like the guy or not, I think everyone is a little bit curious as to how this production turned out. Well, I took the liberty of actually watching the full video, and I have to tell you... it's not bad. And when I say 'not bad', I say it because I actually wanted more of Chris and Justin. I know that the Maverick Men, Cole and Hunter,  are the stars of their own website, and that there is a widespread appeal for big burly alpha male tops, but they simply were not my cup of tea. One of the main reasons I identify with Crocker is that we are both tops who are commonly mistaken for bottoms, so while it was fun to watch him get fucked (and apparently love it) my brain was busy being annoyed that he had to compromise but the other guys didn't.

The film consists mostly of the two couples swapping out and having Cole and Hunter top Chris and Justin. The film is shot mostly from a POV perspective, so viewers may get a little dizzy, a la "Cloverfield". All of the fucking is bareback, which we all know I am not a fan of, but I also know that as a viewer it is essentially unavoidable. I understand that Chris and Justin were otherwise monogamous, which lets me relax a little.

Finally, though, toward the end of the video, we get to see Chris start to really let go and give his own boyfriend a good pounding. And I daresay he is quite good at it. I felt like the scene cut out just when he was starting to get real bossy, and I would have like to see more of that. Both Chris and Justin are naturals for adult film, and I would have liked if they had been given more opportunity to shine. I hope they both continue to explore this path in the future, even if it is separately.
