So San Francisco and I may have gotten off to a bad start, but yesterday I finally got off my ass and went exploring, and I found the California that I've been looking for.
I've been in Frisco twice but have never left the airport. The last time I landed from Hong Kong at 9 a.m., looked at a newspaper and suffered an existential crisis when I realized that I traveled back in time 3 hours after a 12 hour flight. It was still the same day!
A gay buddy of mine was unimpressed with the city. And, I kinda suffer from an irrational fear of earthquakes. My Cali is San Diego and the OC.
