Obviously Hot

I've never really been able to explain my 'type'. I'm attracted to a fairly broad spectrum of men, but there has always been some sort of consistent theme between them that I haven't been able to put my finger on.

One of my coworkers has very similar taste to me. I wouldn't say it's exactly the same, since we've disagreed plenty of times, but that theme is definitely similar. For instance, we both share the same porn crush, Danny Wylde.

Last night she and I were working on the floor together, and discussing this very topic. At one point I went to help an attractive male customer, and shortly after he left I mentioned how hot I found him. My coworker responded, "Yeah, but he was hot in an obvious sort of way."

My jaw dropped and I stared at her long and hard. THAT'S IT! That's the theme I've been looking for all this time. I have a preference for guys that are a more subtle form of hot. I mean, sure, I slobber over Matt Bomer on a regular basis (I am only human here), but normally the traditional idea of hot does very little for my loins. While most will lust after the leading man in a film, I'll usually go for that adorable second-degree sidekick who pops up for a disappointingly short period of time. My favorite guys in porn are never the ones front and center on the cover...in the corner on the back if I'm lucky. I apologize if that sounds slightly hipster of me, but that's the way it usually works out.

You guys...this is very exciting for me. Silly as it sounds, I now have an answer for the next time somebody asks me that annoying question of "What kind of guys do you like?" They probably still won't like it, but it's definitely more solid than what I had before.
